Stage two

Connected Operation

Connect workflows, records, communication, handoffs, and business tools.

Businesses with real volume, but no reliable record of where anything stands.

Connected Operation fits businesses where the work is coming in but the operation is fragmented: handoffs happen verbally, status requires asking someone, and different tools hold different versions of the same information. This stage connects those pieces so the business — not an individual — holds the record.

Problems this stage addresses

What Connected Operation fixes.

  • Nobody knows who owns the next step
  • No record of what was said, agreed, or handed off
  • No visibility into what's open, active, or stalled
  • The same information re-entered into multiple tools
  • Conflicting versions of the same record in different places
  • Follow-through that depends on someone remembering

Everything in Foundation, plus a connected operation.

Expected outcome

Less depends on memory, and status stops requiring a conversation.

Work moves between people with a record attached. You can see where anything stands without reconstructing it from old messages. The information that used to live with individual employees lives in the business instead — which is what makes delegation possible.

Daily Pawventures is a Connected Operation build. Real capacity limits enforced by the system, availability that respects the owner's calendar, deposits collected and balances charged without anyone remembering to invoice, and every booking visible in one place. See what this stage produced →

Final investment is determined after the Operational Audit. Scope, the number of systems connected, and the integrations required set the final number.

Not included at this stage

Custom internal tools, dashboards, role-based permissions, approval systems, and documented operating procedures are not part of Connected Operation — those are introduced at Owned Operating System. Marketing spend, ad management, and content creation are never included at any stage.

Why does Connected Operation require a retainer and Foundation doesn't?

Connected records and running workflows need ongoing maintenance to keep working as the business changes. The retainer covers that upkeep — it doesn't affect ownership of what's already been delivered.

What happens if I cancel the retainer later?

You keep everything already built and delivered. AOE just isn't responsible for maintaining or updating it without an active retainer.

Can I start with just one piece of this?

Yes. Every deliverable in the contract is its own line item, so you can scope down to exactly what your business needs right now.

Connect the operation before it costs you more work.
